Sports career:
In June 2018, at the Hungarian Grand Prix tournament in the weight category up to 67 kg, Meyrzhan became the winner, defeating the Iranian Muhammadali Abdulhamid Gerai in the final bout.
At the 2018 World Championships he won a bronze medal in the up to 67 kg category.
On April 20, 2022, he won a gold medal at the Asian championship, defeating the two-time world champion from Korea, Ryu Han Soo, in the decisive match.
